A free phone consultation is conducted prior to any evaluation to discuss your child’s speech and language strengths and challenges and to answer any questions you may have about the evaluation or therapy process.
Services
Evaluations
A speech and language evaluation is conducted using formal assessment measures (standardized tests), informal assessment measures (observation, conversation), or both. The evaluation will determine if a child is in need of speech and language therapy, and if so, what areas of speech or language require intervention.
In-Home Therapy
Therapy is conducted in the child’s most comfortable and familiar environment - their home! A variety of games, toys, books and materials are brought for therapy sessions with the option to use the child’s own games and toys, too. Family members are always welcome to sit in on sessions to observe, learn and ask questions.
Screenings
Fifteen minute speech and language screenings are conducted at select schools to determine the need for a full speech and language evaluation.
